Blake Lively Biography
Blake Christina Lively was born on August 25, 1987 in Tarzana, California. Blake was born the youngest of five children to her parents Ernie Lively, and Elaine Lively, whom are both successful actors themselves. Young Blake quickly learnt how to imitate people, and role play using her parents as role models. She therefore adopted the talent of acting extremely quickly. As she grew older, she looked up to other relatives, like her brother in law Bart Johnson.
She attended Burbank High School in Burbank where she focused on drama, acting and vocal classes. During that time, she had participated in the National Show Choir to show off her vocals skills to the public.
Her first acting role was on the movie “Sandman”, where she played the role of Trixie the Tooth Fairy in 1998. This movie was directed by her father Ernie Lively. She had her breakthrough in acting while she was still in high school. At that time, she got a co-starring role in “The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants”, 2005. There she played the role of Bridget. Blake has also landed roles in other movies and TV shows such as “Accepted”, starring Justin Long, “Simon Says”, “Elvis and Anabelle”, and her newest TV show “Gossip Girl”.
